 Daylight Saving Time: Kya Yeh Zaroori Hai?



Do baar saal mein, hamare paas Daylight Saving Time (DST) hota hai, jismein ham ek ghanta neend khote ya paate hain. Yeh bahut saare deshon mein hota hai, lekin kuch logon ko yeh zaroori hai ya nahin, iske baare mein kuch shanka hai.

Daylight Saving Time Ki Itihaas:-

DST ka idea naya nahin hai. Benjamin Franklin ne ise 1784 mein mombatti bachane ke liye sujhaya tha, lekin yeh sirf World War I ke dauraan Germany mein coal bachane ke liye istemaal hua tha. Doosre desh bhi ise istemaal karne lage, jismein United States mein yeh 1918 mein pehli baar istemaal hua tha.

Tab se, DST bahut baar badla hua hai. Kuch desh saal bhar ke liye iska istemaal karte hain, jabki kuch desh ise kabhi bhi istemaal nahin karte hain. United States mein, DST doosre Sunday se March mein shuru hota hai aur November ke pehle Sunday tak chalta hai.

DST ka ek mukhya fayda yeh hai ki hum shaam ko zyada samay ke liye dhoop mein hote hain. Yeh summer months ke dauraan bahut accha hota hai jab log bahar jyada der tak rahte hain aur bahar ke activities karte hain. Log jo DST ka istemaal karte hain, unka kehna hai ki yeh ek accha system hai kyunki isse hum shaam ko zyada samay ke liye dhoop mein hote hain aur isse energy bhi bachti hai. Kuch logon ko bhi DST ke baare mein kuch shankaayein hain, lekin DST ka istemaal aaj bhi bahut saare deshon mein hota hai.

DST ke khilaaf argument yeh hai ki isse neend ki quality aur health par bura asar padta hai. Kyunki hamara circadian rhythm, jisse hamari body apne aap ko adjust karti hai, disturbed ho jaata hai, isliye hamari neend quality kam ho jaati hai. Iske alawa, yeh system kuch logon ko confuse bhi kar deta hai. Isliye, yeh sabhi deshon aur states ke haath mein hota hai ki woh DST ka istemaal karein ya nahin. Ek baat zaroor hai ki DST se judi shankaayein hain aur isse kuch logon ko disturb ho sakta hai, isliye yeh bhi zaroori hai ki DST ke baare mein logon ko jaankari di jaaye aur samajhaya jaaye ki iska istemaal karna zaroori hai ya nahin.
